New Open Access Journal: L’Annuaire du Collège de France

L’Annuaire du Collège de France
L’annuaire Cours et travaux du Collège de France se fait chaque année le reflet de l'activité scientifique du Collège. Il contient notamment les résumés détaillés de tous les cours et séminaires des professeurs, rédigés par leurs soins. Les professeurs honoraires y présentent leurs activités. On y trouve également les comptes rendus des travaux des laboratoires, instituts et équipes de recherche liés aux différentes chaires, ainsi que des équipes accueillies au Collège ; les résumés des conférences données par des chercheurs et professeurs étrangers invités; une brève histoire du Collège de France comprenant la succession des chaires depuis le début du XIXe siècle.

Socratis et Socraticorum Reliquiae Source presents the transcription of the collection of testimonies about Socrates and Socratics (Socratis et Socraticorum Reliquiae) originally edited by G. Giannantoni.
The site enable users to access texts, exploit resources, and perform queries. Notes, additional information and a legenda for a better access to the texts are also available.
The publication is peer-reviewed and aspire to meet the highest quality standards. The content of the site and its internet addresses are stable and can be freely consulted and used for scholarly purposes.
The site will be soon open for semantically enrich the data published on the websites. A use of peer-to-peer (p2p) networking will also provide an efficient and engaging collaborative work space.

Open Access Journal: Der Antike Sudan

Der Antike Sudan. Mitteilungen der Sudanarchäologischen Gesellschaft zu Berlin e.V. (MittSAG)
Die Zeitschrift "Der Antike Sudan. Mitteilungen der Sudanarchäologischen Gesellschaft zu Berlin e. V." (MittSAG) erscheint einmal jährlich. Sie informiert ausführlich über die von der SAG unter stützten Projekte im Sudan. Eine weitere feste Rubrik ist die Publikation der aktuellen "Fritz-Hintze-Vorlesung zur Sudanarchäologie" im Heft des jeweils folgenden Jahres. Außerdem enthält die Zeitschrift weitere Beiträge zur Archäologie, Geschichte und Kultur des Sudan. In den letzten Jahren hat sich "Der antike Sudan" zu einem international renommierten Publikationsorgan ent wickelt und entsprechend nicht nur eine breite Leserschaft, sondern auch Beiträge von Wissen schaftlern aus aller Welt angezogen.

La revista Lucentum es el órgano de difusión científica de las Áreas de Conocimiento de Prehistoria, Arqueología e Historia Antigua de la Universidad de Alicante, abierta también a la participación de todos los investigadores interesados. Comenzó a publicarse en el año 1982 y hasta la fecha se han editado veinte números con un total de 153 artículos. La versión digital es en realidad una nueva edición, en un formato adecuado, que como novedad incluirá la reproducción en color de ilustraciones que en la edición en papel aparecen, por problemas de costos, en escala de grises.

Radiocarbon is the main international journal of record for research articles and date lists relevant to 14C and other radioisotopes and techniques used in archaeological, geophysical, oceanographic, and related dating. It is published 3 times a year. We also publish conference proceedings and monographs on topics related to our fields of interest.
Volumes 1 (1959) - 47 (2005) are available open access.  More recent volumes requires a subscription.

Open Access Middle East Mongraphs at MENADOC

MENAdoc
Since 1998, the Universitäts- und Landesbibliothek Sachsen-Anhalt (ULB Halle) holds responsibility for the national  Middle East and North Africa Collection (Sondersammelgebiet Vorderer Orient einschliesslich Nordafrika). 
Since 2000, digital services of this collection and other information providers in Middle East and Islamic studies are coordinated in the Middle East Virtual Library MENALIB. MENALIB offers access to a number of bibliographic databases and also to electronic fulltext materials. Fulltext materials are stored in the document repository MENAdoc which is part of ULB Halle's digital libary. MENAdoc provides access to digital copies of the Periodicals of the German Oriental Society (Deutsche Morgenländische Gesellschaft) and various titles from the Turkish studies collection of  Prof. Jacob M. Landau as well as to a growing number of other electronic fulltext materials related to Middle East and Islamic studies. 
While it is not strictly speaking an archive of material relating to the Ancient World, many readers of AWOL will find much useful material at MENAdoc.  Subscribing to the news feed is well worth the effort.
